21)  Those black plastic trim pieces and mirrors that won't clean up, and shine? On a very low RPM, apply
some Metalika to the finish and buff to a high lustre gloss. Go easy, plastics heat up quick and they are
very easy to burn.
Finishing  foam pad and low RPM don't forget.

22) Having a problem cleaning your windows. Wash your towels often and use NO detergents.  Use bleach,
that is it. Throw in some dryer sheets for anti static.

23) Ever wonder "WHY" after you polish a vehicle it just seems to collect dust like mad? Well, you create a
static electricity surface to the finish as you polish it, and wipe it down - like rubbing a balloon. In the old
days, we would use a nylon filled with corn starch. Today, simply spray a light mist of Magic Wax, not only
will Magic Wax demagnetize your finish, we have added optical brighteners to magnify the finish.

24) Remove lipstick and other cosmetic stains, white vinegar, is often your best bet. As well, works
exceptional on blood stains.

25) Hot water drastically increases chemical cleaning activity. For every 18 degree's of water temperature
raised, over 118 degree's cleaning activities double. Its also the reason why; you have to have, a hot water
extractor, for interior cleaning and disinfecting, nothing even comes close.

26) When cleaning fabrics and carpets, let the cleaning product stand and do its work for a period of time,
this will dramatically improve your cleaning results.

27) Take daily care of your detailing equipment, clean out your extractor daily,
clean out your shop vac daily, clean the filters, and collectors. Keep you vac lines, extractor lines, extension
cords cleaned daily. Rinse out your brushes.
Put everything back in its specified space.

28) Do some research on "Clear Coat" paint. There are still some old schoolers promoting compounds and
wool polishing pads. All the studies are in. Quite clearly, that all buffing pads create "hazing" and reduced
optical clarity.

29) O.E.M.  Data: Clear coat film is 1.5 to 2.0 mils ( a mil equals 1/1000 of an inch. The total build up may
be 3.8 to 8.3, but the clear coat is still only 1.4 to 2.0.
(POLISH GUIDELINE CHART)

30) Because of this fact, all O.E.M.'s advise that if more than 0.03 (3/10ths) of a mil is removed. The clear
coat should be re-sprayed to prevent film failure. Simply stated: Wool Pads high RPM buffing with
compounds will definitely damage the clear coat. One sure way to create high skin temperatures on the
clear coat, is high speed buffing and don't forget the old school wool pads, along with the non-lubricating
buffing products.  There is only one safe procedure to remove the contaminants of  a clear coated surface.
