Stage 2: Bug Removal
Procedure Time Frame:
2-5 Minutes
* Pre rinse entire front area of the vehicle
* Apply Bug Off to the front bumper - grill - headlights - trim - etc.
*Apply Bug Off to the front windshield - side mirrors
* Agitate with soft bristle wash brush
* Rinse throughly
Stage 3: Tires - Wheels - Jambs - Fuel Cell
Time Frame:
8-10 Minutes
* Pre rinse - the complete exterior of the vehicle - including door jambs. Just a quick rinse.
* Starting on the drivers front tire - spray down the tire - rim & wheel well with Power Plus.
* Heavily soiled or brake dust build up on rim - spray down with Eliminator - Blast Off.
* If a whitewall is present spray with Blast Off scrub whitewall with brass whitewall brush.
* Scrub the black wall with Tampico Utility Brush.
* Scrub the rim with a tampico brush - scrub harden brake dust with hard ended detail brush.
* Check wheel well if additional brushing is needed - if needed - do so now.
* Complete rinse - remember to rinse out the complete wheel well and exposed frame parts.
Door Jamb Cleaning:
* Moving counter clock wise around the vehicle next proceed to the drivers door jambs and spray
down with Power Plus.
* You may need to agitate excessive dirt build up with a soft bristle brush
do not forget the under portion of the door itself - we cannot emphasis
enough the importance of the door jambs being cleaned properly.
* Rinse throughly light p.s.i.
Tire - Wheel Well Cleaning:
* Next move to the drivers rear tire and repeat the tire - wheel well - rim
cleaning procedure.
Road Tar Removal:
* Prior to moving to the rear of the vehicle and road tar is present -
spray down the drivers lower panels down with Solv All - this will give
time for Solv All to penetrate and loosen the road tar significantly.
Fuel Cell Cleaning:
* If fuel cell is accessible from the drivers side - do so now - spray down
with Power Plus - brush lightly and rinse.
Trunk Jamb Cleaning:
* Spray down the trunk jamb with Power Plus agitate with a soft bristle
brush and rinse.
Tire Wheel Well Cleaning:
* Proceed to passengers side rear tire area - complete cleaning process.
Fuel Cell Cleaning:
* If fuel cell is accessible from this side - do so now - Power Plus - agitate with brush and rinse.
Door Jamb Cleaning:
* Proceed to passengers door jambs - clean throughly - 4 doors - close
rear door to clean the inner portion of the rear jambs.
Tire Wheel Well Cleaning:
* Proceed to passengers front tire - follow cleaning procedure - remember
a good rinse - watch your water run off - if its clean you are done - if not
keep rinsing.
Road Tar Removal:
* Road tar present on passengers side - pre soak lower panels with Solv
All - just makes your job easier. Think ahead.
