Day 1:
8:00 - 9:00a.m. "Detailing Product-Supplies-Equipment"
Have your detailer or detailers, view our "Product Orientation D.V.D.", this will pre orientate them, to not only what they
are going to be utilizing in the detailing facility. As well, when to use, what to use, where to use, & how to use. This D.V.D.
also covers application. Product consumption cost per vehicle, and much, much, more.
(D.V.D. Time 35 minutes) Have them use the additional time to re-view products & supplies, they may not be clear on.
9:00-9:30 a.m. "Detail Facility"
Have your detailers view the "Facility Set-Up D.V.D.", for they are in touch on how the system works, as well knowing
that putting supplies, equipment, and bottles back in there correct area has a reason. In the event you are having them
install the detailing facility kit, this D.V.D. covers installation as well. (D.V.D. Time 7 minutes)
9:30-10:00 am. "Accountability-Expectations-Performance"
This D.V.D. will instill in the new or even old detailer we recognize the #1 expense in the detailing facility is sitting in the
chair. Labor, labor, labor. As well, this will give the detailers an expectation time-frame to go for. We have our detailers
watch this one twice. (D.V.D. Time 20 minutes)
10:00-10:15 a.m. "Break"
10:15-12:00 p.m. "Complete Wet Stall Procedures"
This D.V.D. covers the entire cleaning process of a vehicle bumper to bumper, as well noting time frames, and flag rates.
What to use, when to use, where to use. Additional minutes, use to review. (In the case you would like to acquire
additional training D.V.D.s for your detailers, for they may have their own personal copy, just give us a call, we would be
glad to send you, some extras.) (D.V.D. Time 45 minutes)
12:00-12:30 p.m. "Lunch"
12:30-1:00 p.m. Have your hiring personnel that is in charge of hiring this detailer, have a short meeting with the
potential employee to get feed back and insight on there thoughts. (We also have some basic detailing questions and mini
tests to qualify the aptitude and potential if this individual was paying attention.)
1:00-2:30 p.m. "Complete Dry Stall Procedures"
This D.V.D. covers the entire cosmetic detailing process and procedures of a vehicle bumper to bumper. As well noting
time frames, and flag rates. What to use, when to use, how to use, where to use. Have them use
the additional time to review. (D.V.D. Time 45 minutes)
2:30-3:00 p.m.
Have your manager of your detailing facility, assist the new detailer in orientation to the work space, make introductions,
and answer any questions they may have.
* Sign in detailer accountability sheet and how it works.
* Your M.S.D.S. system and sign off sheet.
* Who they report to.
* What services he/she will be performing (New Vehicle Preps, Lot Refresh,   Complete Details and so on.) We
recommend starting them on easier detailing services at first.    
* Who is in charge of checking there work, as well the sign off inspection sheet.
* Special employment restrictions and standards that your
dealership requires.
3:00-5:00 p.m.
Have the new detailer work with an existing detailer. One you know, that has a good attitude with working with new
employees, and put them to work.
5:00 p.m.  "A Quick Evaluation Time."
*What does the new detailer think? Is this something he or she feels they would want to do, and pursue?
*As well, have a short discussion with the detailer, that they where training with, and what their thoughts are, on the new
detailer. *We have let many go, the first day. Detailing is not for everyone.
Plus you really have to have a passion for vehicles, not everybody does. * We are up front with all new potential detailers,
and tell them all, they are here, on a 5 day trail bases. Where, we will be monitoring them very,  
very, close. *We know that detailing vehicles its not for everyone. *We simply explain it to them, that they would be
happier in life pursuing another field. *You can tell, who is in to it, and who is their to just get a paycheck.
*We let, the just get a paycheck, individuals go, very fast. Why waste our time and their time?
*We also suggest that they have access to a D.V.D. player in the detailing facility to refresh and stay on point while
learning the process. (A portable is around $80.00 to $100.00)
